Picture This

Here are the pictures I promised were coming. These are some of my latest carvings.
The one above had some pretty small cuts. The one below was done
mostly by my teacher, but I got to do some and learned a ton about
carving faces.


The one above I took at my Aunt and Uncle's. I call it Reflected
in Time.

Joel is staying with us and having a great time.
We went hiking in Tennessee with our grandma and grandpa
on our way back from Florida and I found this stone on the hike.
You have to like moss. Green and fuzzy.
The one on top is not from Tennessee but I thought it was COOL.
This is from Tennessee and pictures do not do justice.
This was really pretty.
That is grandma.
It was really green in Tennessee.
I took this picture so that it says something different.
The tire is thing on your car that makes contact with the road.
And yes I am tired too. And since tomorrow is Easter I
should head for my bed.

Oh Yea!!

Why oh yea for the title. Well I will tell you. I do not know. Well since the last post quite a lot has
happened. We went to Florida to help Stephen move, watch him graduate, and have a general family vacation. We went to Epcot and spent day there visiting the countries and going on rides.
We also went to R.C. Sproul's church. Then afterwards we played ultimate frisbee with some of Stephens friends. I am not writing these in the order they happened just putting in the highlights of the trip. We also visited my Grandma and Grandpa in Tennessee on the way there and on the way back we spent all Valentines at there place. One of the sad things is that I took very few pictures during the whole trip, so do not expect a big photo thing. But I promise to post some of the pictures. When we got back life was as normal as could be for about a week, till on Monday I took a nap and woke up with a fever that I finally got rid of this morning. So unless your diet consists of ivyprofan, water, and Gatorade and you lay down a lot this was not a normal week. I know that is not how you spell ibuprofen, but that is how it should be spelled.

Play Acting

The play went really well. For those of you who do not know I was playing grandfather in Hiedi. It was a ton of fun. The pictures are blurry because of the bad lighting. In the picture above I am shouting Aunt Dete, telling her I am as meek and gentle as a lamb.

Things I am thankful for: family, friends, health, Jesus, woodcarving, music,
paintball, turkey, and my country. Please feel free to add any you think of.
I can tell you that is not half of them. I have so much to be thankful for
it should be a disgrace to complain, and yet I do. So remember just because
it is one day of thanksgiving does not mean it is the only day to be thankful.
