Double Suprise

Well the other day my brothers, sister, mom, and, I where at a coffee shop to drop off Abby so she could meet some friends. So I was just sort of standing around when I see a couple and there baby walk in the door. For a minute I thought nothing of it till I did a double take "wow they look a lot like Andrew and Bethany and Jac". Well they where Andrew and Bethany and Jac. You could have nocked me over whith a tooth-pick.
Later on Libby and Josiah get out of a car that was behind us when we picked up my dad at work. I have to say that Libby and Josiah where not that big of a suprise to because of things I heard and thought, but I will not go into all of that now. All in all a very odd yet fun afternoon. Than lastnight at the ball Libby and Josiah Suprised the B family which was great. I will post some pictures later.

What I have been doing most of the summer and late fall.

My hand dug fort. Thanks to Seth and Nat B, and to Isaac and Joel B, and to my brother Douglas for the help and effort they put in.

Snow

We got snow. We only got about a 1 mm. But I am still glad that it is at least below freezing. Yes yes yes. Thank you for the votes I think they helped. Anyway I am just so glad for some real winter weather. To bad the picture above was not taken by me.

Last night we got our Christmas Tree and decorated the house. And I am proud to state that I got all my Christmas shopping done. Also Stephen is home for Christmas. Therefore due to conditons I think Christmas should be here in 17 days. Wait, I just got a weather report that says that says 39*F for tomorrow. And we only have about an inch of snow. AAHHH we need a blizzard. Cast your vote here if you want a blizzard.

We have snow.

Do I like snow? Yes. Do like it better when there is something that needs to get done before the
the snow comes and it comes just as I finish. Yes Yes. So we got about an inch of snow last night
that came in a windy hurry and left in a... well I am not sure because I was sleeping. But I do know it left for the simple reason that when I woke up it was gone. Now the ground is white and it looks so nice.

Missing link

I do not like this phrase because it assumes that there is a missing link. If it is missing and you
have never seen it than how do you know there is such a thing? But if you have found it (which some claim they have) then it is no longer the missing link but the found one. So in truth, for the ones who do not believe that there is such a thing(like myself) , we should call it the link that never was. And I will let the people that think they have found the link that never was think up a name for there so called found link. I think that those who say ,"missing link", should not say it unless they really think that there is a link that is missing.
Even though there is no evidence. But that is a different sort of thing to talk about some other time.

Trip to Canada

My great, great Aunt.

Went to Canada (as is stated clearly above) this weekend to visit my great, great Aunt. And had a great time. My grandma and grandpa came with us also.









Thursday night and this afternoon we have been burning the pond.

Well so far this week has been normal(unlike most). Of course it is only Monday. You never know who will walk in the door or call or.. or anything can happen. Though it is only Monday I am in full stride. Did school this morning, this afternoon I went woodcarving, then to TKD, and from there I came home ate dinner, did dishes, and some other odds and ends that are pointless to bring up.

I would stop telling what I am doing and post pictures but due to computer breakdowns and camera breakdowns the amount of pictures in this house are minimal, the maximum of which you have seen on mine and my family members blogs. Hope you get that.

Prayer Request

A friend of mine was in a hunting accident, and received some lead shot. They got all but one of the bb's out that is still in his eye. So please pray that everything will come out ok. And that permanent damage will be minimal.

I was amused this morning after breakfast when my siblings and I where cleaning the kitchen
that Abby cried out after seeing the emty coffee bag,"It was decaf" then commenced with crying on my shoulder solder sioldere how ever you say the thing. Anyway it got me to thinking is it or is it not that important. I personaly think so. Because one makes you talk and stay awake and the other makes you cry in the thought that you will not talk or stay awake. That is my theory. Only been tested once. Abbys crying I think was a little forced.

Had a great weekend. Went to Minot thursday to medal detect and see cousins. Got back Saturday and did some house cleaning. Went to church Sunday and left from church to go surprise
our other cousins and our grandma and grandpa up by Grand Forks. Then came back Sunday evening. It was lots of
fun. But I am ready to stay home for a while though.

I spent this weekend doing (what is in my book fun... scary huh) that includes meeting new friends,
learning about Indians of the past, playing games, riding horse, exploring,looking for cool rocks, camping, etc... All thanks to the hospitalty of the Cutler Family. So that is what I was doing, to
put in a nutshell.

And concerning my change of address. If I do not get any more comments, I will take the advice I have been given so far.

It was a hard weekend. No better way to end it then with a relaxing
cig.... I mean pretzel.

When it comes to trucks BIGGER is better.

On our way back from our camping we got to take a shortned tour(doo to wet weather) of a coal mine. Got to see the massive trucks they use to take coal and replace dirt. So here are some fun facts
on how huge they are.

This truck is called a dragline and is the biggest truck in the whole mine. It is to big to move on traks or wheels so they have huge shoes that they place on the bottom that move ten feet at a time (pun intended). And is so heavy that when they moved it across the road it sunk two feet down.
Anyway the thing is like a mix of big crane big excavater. So that it makes it one big thing.
Here are some fun facts.

Each dragline weighs 13 million pounds
215 feet tall(as tall as the 17th floor of the North Dakota State Capital)
Boom lenghth 340 feet
8o foot diameter base (the size of a baseball diamond infield)
12,000 horsepower, 23,000 volt power supply
Each dragline moves 150 tons of earth per minute
Walking shoes 14x72 feet(equals a mans shoe size 2251)
The bucket holds 124 cubic yards of earth, it could hold
four 4-wheel drive Suburbans.
Yea, So it is like a moving building.
And the wheels on most of the other trucks are about 9 feet tall.

Cold, wet, and fun.

If you ever go tent camping and hear it is going to be cold, rainy, windy, and maybe even a little
snowy, do not chiken out. Tent camping in that weather can be a lot of fun. I am not kidding,
I did it. All you need is the right gear, a fire, and food. Oh, One last factor, friends. Me, my
dad, my brothers, and friends went on a cmping trip up by Cottonwood Lake, in the conditions just stated. But we did have a shelter belt of tall bushes that helped keep out the wind. And it did not snow. But we had a great time in the outdoors. If I where to write about it all you would need a spare hour and I need to go to bed. So please ask questions. And I will do an answer post later.
It did not rain the whole time. Which was from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning.

Wish upon a star

Tonight me and my famliy(or we) where whatching as meteorite (or shooting stars) the size of peas flew into our atmosphere burning into nothing. For those of you who do not have yard lights,
it helps not to have them. Any way we saw some really cool ones.

Back to normal......... in its broadest form.

We are now back from said Trinity Fest. And I was not wrong in my prediction of having a blast.
While at it learned a great deal and had a lot of fun. But while down there I had a sore throat that
got better the day we left. That was a little disheartaning. So when all is said and done even a
sore throat can not take the fun out of trinity fest.
Also I read a great book while on the way there and back. It is called Around the World in Eighty
Days. I suppose some people would think it a joke today when you can go around the world in one
day. But it is really a great book.
Well now that we are not on vacation we have returned to our good old nomal way of life. (laugh if you like) Well thats all for now sighning off Chip.

Our family is now making last minute preps for going to Trinity Fest in M. For any one who has not gone to a Trinity Fest, they are truck-loads of fun, put simply. Besides the fact that my brother lives in M. with his wife and one son and two daughters. I've made lots of other friends there the many times we have been there. Oh and we are picking up some friends on the way. Hannah and Rachel where going out there for college, following the yellow brick road, when there car broke down 40 miles outside of Oz. So we are picking them up, and bringing the rest of the way. Man this is going to be fun.

Weekend with me

Saturday Michael and I went to the new Scheels in Fargo. The worlds largest sports store in
the world, which is not hard to believe when you go inside. Then we went home, built legos, and
whatched a John Whane movie. Then Sunday after church we went to eat at Pizza Hut we went home and went to the lake to swim which is my favorite sports. So there is my weekend in
summary. Fun huh.

My first Wodehouse book

I read my first Wodehouse book today. But I have watched movies of his books. I have also
noticed that he likes to cut honesty from just the right amout of characters to create a
crisis. And bye adding the English touch, it makes a most amusing book. Does have some profanaty.

Many thanks to Abby my sister for helping me with my blog. Because as many of you know my
computer skills are not up to snuff. As my brother Michael would put it.

New at this thing, so do not laugh at me. I find it intresting to note that people like to know
what other people are doing in there everyday life and that other people are more than willing to tell. Besides the fact that I am doing it myself.
